ABOUT ME
Laida Carvalho Rodrigues was born in 1976 and was raised in Madeira, Portugal.
In 1997, moved by her passion for the arts, she moves to Lisboa where
she took a Bacharol`s degree in Equipment Design at Lisbon`s Fine Arts Faculty.
In 2003, she returns to the birth land where she started on an eleven year career as an Art teatcher. In 2006, she embarked on her Master`s degree in Art and Heritage at Madeira`s University. In 2009, Laida obtained certification in Pedagogical Trainning in Visual Arts.
During her academic and professional education she promoted her artistic work by participating in several exhibitions both
individually and collectively.
In 2013 she moves to Sandnes in Norway,
where she currently works and lives.
